More than one million tonne of raw steel has been produced in Khuzestan Steel Company during the first six months of the current Iranian year (started 20 March 2008).
Announcing the above, managing director of Khuzestan Steel Company said that various kinds of ingots, billet, bloom and slab are among the main goods produced in the company during the mentioned period.
He added that this amount indicates a growth of 9 percent compared to the same period last year.
He also said that during this period of time more than 300,000 tonnes of steel valued at $140 million have been exported.
