TEHRAN (FNA)- The value of Iran's non-oil exports in the six months to September 20, 2008 hit $13 billion, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) director general said.
"This amount is 167 percent more than the figure stipulated in the Fourth Socio-Economic Development Plan," MNA quoted Seyed Alireza Shojaei as saying.
"Iran earned over $20 billion out of non-oil exports last year," he added.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran's government has allocated $5 billion for the development of non-oil exports in the next Iranian calendar year (to start March 20, 2009)," he concluded.
