The Islamic Republic of Iran`s exports to Belarus increased 21fold during the last 10 years, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran`s spokesman said.
Referring to the rising process of Iran`s export to Belarus during the last decade, Ali Reza Shojaei said that in 1998 Iran exported $333,000 of various products to Belarus, while the figure in 2008 reached $7.55 million.
Auto parts and accessories, raisin, pistachio, carpet, medical monitors, medicines, date and fig are among the main Iranian non-oil products exported to Belarus.
Recently, Iran and Belarus have discussed signing Free Trade Agreement (FTA) during a meeting between head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and Belarusian ambassador.
