The Islamic Republic of Iran will export 75 billion dollars of various goods in the current year.
According to a report by the International Monetary Fund titled "Regional Economic Outlook: Middle East and Central Asia", the total exports in the mentioned region will decrease from $1.163 trillion in 2008 to $735 billion in 2009.
Iran will also export $75 billion of various goods in the current year. The figure stood at $111 billion in 2008.
The region`s imports will also witness decrease in 2009.
While in 2008, Iran imported $94 billion of various products, the figure will reach $93 billion in 2009, showing $1 billion decrease.
The region`s total import will also decrease to $950 billion in 2009 from $1.003 trillion in 2008, the report added.
