The Islamic Republic of Iran has exported above $347 million of pistachio from Kerman Province in 2008.
Last year, Iran`s pistachio export from Kerman Province reached 53 thousand and 294 tonnes valued at $374 million and 565 thousand.
The European countries and Persian Gulf states were among the major markets for Iranian pistachio exported from Kerman Province.
Along with pistachio, copper, date, iron, tile and ceramic were among other products exported from the province to the above mentioned countries.
The province also imported various products from EU, Russia, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Turkey and Iraq
